Hello. My name is Kathleen Morgan and I live in Winchester, VA. I grew up in Albany, New York, and received my undergraduate degree from SUNY Geneseo in Elementary and Special Education. After I received my bachelor's degree, I attended Georgia State University and received my Graduate degree as a Reading Specialist. So far, I have been teaching for 21 years in both Virginia and Georgia.

In my spare time, I enjoy traveling. In addition to traveling, I love to be by water. Whether it’s the ocean or a lake, you’ll find me in the water snorkeling, fishing, tubing, or just enjoying the sound of the water.

I’ve been married to my husband Travis for over 28 years, and we have 3 girls. Allison and Melanie are twins.  Allison lives in Atlanta and works for a marketing firm.  Melanie will be attending Radford University for her Masters in Mental Health Counseling. Our youngest daughter, Grace, is a first-year student at VA Tech. I love to learn, and I am always looking for new and exciting ways to achieve my students' needs.
