Assistant Principal's Message

  • Dear VACDES Students and Families,

I am thrilled to become part of the 2024-2025 school year! I am looking forward to meeting and connecting with each of you. At Virginia Avenue Charlotte DeHart Elementary School (VACDES), we are committed to being “an inclusive community that empowers all students to thrive”. Throughout my career, I’ve been fortunate to work alongside dedicated educators and leaders who share a common goal: ensuring every student has access to a high-quality education. I’m thrilled to bring that experience to VACDES and to grow with this amazing school community.

As the Assistant Principal of VACDES, I am devoted to building strong relationships with students and families. My goal is to ensure that every child feels supported and loved the minute they walk through the front door of our building.

Thank you for the privilege of working alongside you to develop the future leaders of tomorrow. During the course of the year, it is my hope that we will work together, as a team, to provide our children with the best opportunities to be successful.  I invite you to contact me at any time with questions or concerns you have regarding your child’s experience at VACDES. My door is always open.

    With Warmest Regards,

    Mr. Dirk Webb
    Assistant Principal
