Assistive Listening Systems

  • Listening System icon Winchester Public Schools has installed Assistive Listening Systems in each of the schools in our division. The systems are used for students, staff, parents, and community members who are deaf or hard of hearing. These systems can be used with or without personal hearing devices and provide access to meetings, sports and musical events that are open to the public. This is in compliance with the American with Disabilities Act (ADA) guidelines.

John Handley High School and Daniel Morgan Middle School each have a “fixed” system in their auditorium as well as a portable unit that can be used indoor or outdoor. Each elementary school also has a portable system available for their school sponsored activities.

Need Assistance?

  • These systems are available for your use. If you need an Assistive Listening Device please contact the school where the event is being held to reserve your receiver.
